I went to see The Last Song tonight with my nana. First off, I love Miley Cyrus, and I was dying to know why Nick Sparks wrote a movie and a book for her, really? The girl who has basically only played Hannah Montana? I mean he’s huge—amazing books and movies, and yet he wrote something specifically with her in mind?
From what I saw, I loved it. Liam was amazing, and Miley…she should win an award for her performance. Now I know why he did that. She was beyond amazing. The downfall? My father passed away in October from terminal cancer, and the topic made me fall apart. I ended up leaving before it ended, because I couldn’t handle it. There should really be a warning label on movies like that—FYI fans, if someone you know has recently died, or diagnosed with cancer, this movie isn’t really for you.
This isn’t an isolated incident. I’vr actually begun compiling a list of movies not to watch, not just for me, but for my mom.
So far I have Funny People, not added, The Last Song. Any suggestions?
*sigh* well, that’s my rant. See you Monday with something that actually matters.
